A logo animation for The New York Times Magazine. The animation precedes multimedia and video content produced and distributed by the magazine. It appears online, in the app and cross-platform. The design is a modern take on the magazine’s print heritage. In the form of a digital halftone, a living field of dots that represent different stories are filtered, activated and sharpened into the magazine’s masthead.
